PIERRE – Aberdeen’s Olivia Braun won her third South Dakota Golf Association Sanford Tour event of the summer on Monday, shooting a one over par 73 at Hillsview Golf Course in Pierre.
Braun finished one stroke ahead of one stroke ahead of Gabi Olson of Watertown, and two strokes in front of Allison Meyerink of Mitchell, and Alison Kennedy of Spearfish. Miller’s Jayce Pugh was ninth with an 81.
Pierre’s Nick Bothum shot a blistering round of 68 to edge Luke Olson of Fort Pierre who finished second with a 69.
A total of seven golfers finished under par in the boys’ division.
Cole Brust of Aberdeen was the top area finisher taking 12th with a 75.
