Dairy Queen racks up 14 hits in win over Northville

REDFIELD – Redfield Dairy Queen collected 14 hits, including seven for extra-bases, on the way to a 14-2 Amateur baseball victory over the Northville Merchants on Sunday. Fourth rated Class B DQ improved to 14-0 with the win.

Christian DeYoung had a double and a home run, and drove in five runs for Redfield. DeYoung had a two-run double in a three-run third inning, and slugged a three-run homer in a five-run sixth inning.

Nolan Gall topped Dairy Queen with three hits. Camden Osborn, Bennett Osborn, Cooper Hainy, and Keaton Rohlfs each had a pair of hits in the win. Bennett Osborn, Hainy, Rohlfs, Gall, Owen Osborn, and DeYoung all had doubles for Redfield.

Greg Heyne had a pair of singles to pace Northville.
