RAPID CITY – Olivia Braun of Aberdeen is in third place, and Miller’s Jayce Pugh is in fourth in the women’s division heading into the final round of the South Dakota Golf Association Amateur Championship following Saturday’s action at Meadowbrook Golf Course.
Braun and Pugh both shot rounds of 78 during the second round. Braun has a 36-hole total of 151, and Pugh a total of 155. Reese Jansa of Sioux Falls had a 75 for a two-day score of 148, to lead the division, two strokes better than Mitchell’s Allison Meyerink who also had a 75 on Saturday.
Will Allen of Harrisburg leads the men’s division after his second straight round of 70 for a 36-hole score of 140. Brock Murphy of Sioux Falls had a 68 in the second round and is two shots off the pace. Riley Christensen of Sioux Falls, and Kevin Gillick of Rapid City are tied for third with totals of 143.
