Roehrich wins Sanford Futures Championship

LARCHWOOD, Iowa – Clark’s Brynn Roehrich won the girls’ division title at the Sanford Futures Championship on Tuesday. Roehrich finished with a two-day total of 151 to win the championship by two strokes.

The defending Class B State Champion shot a 74 during the second round to break a three-way tie entering the day. Miller’s Jayce Pugh finished runner-up with a 36-hole score of 153.

Aberdeen’s Olivia Braun, who won the event the past two years, finished third with a two-day score of 154.

Claire Crawford of Aberdeen finished 13th with a score of 180.

Taten Mauney of Sioux Falls won the boys’ division by a single stroke with a score of 138.

Milbank’s Jonathan DeBoer tied for 16th with a 36-hole score of 155.
