YANKTON - Aberdeen Central had to put in a little extra work before claiming a road volleyball sweep on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Eagles won the first two sets 25-14, 25-18, before finally subduing Yankton 32-30 in the third set for the Eastern South Dakota Conference victory. "Our kids served really well early on in the match," said Central coach Jackie Bindenagel, whose team finished with 10 aces. The Golden Eagles trailed by six in the final set before finding a way to turn things around and finish off the Gazelles. "Set three was back and forth down the stretch," Bindenagel said. "We were down 11-17 and they found a way to put themselves in a position to win." Lauryn Burckhard led the Eagles with 14 kills to ago along with an ace serve. Kennedy Osborne had three aces to lead a balanced service attack, that saw a pair of aces from Kenadi Withers, Alivia Miller and Taylin Kleffman. Central, 7-3 on the season, has one day to recover before playing at O'Gorman
