FAULKTON – Second-rated Class 9B Faulkton exploded for 38 second-quarter points on the way to a 46-8 non-conference win over Herreid-Selby Area in a matchup of unbeaten football teams Friday night.

Drake Mueller, Charlie Deiter, and Landon Coyle each scored a pair of touchdowns for the Trojans, who finished with 217 yards from scrimmage.

Mueller caught a pair of touchdown strikes from Gian DiMaria, while Deiter and Coyle each had two TD runs.

Porter Gregg scored the Herreid-Selby Area touchdown.
