SIOUX FALLS – Sioux Falls Washington showed why it is one of the top-rated Class AA volleyball teams Thursday night.

The Warriors finished off the opening set with a flurry and then controlled the match the rest of the way en route to a 25-15, 25-4, 25-16 non-conference victory over Aberdeen Central.

“They are an excellent team,” said Central coach Jackie Bindenagel. “We started out strong, and then they went on a huge run at the end of the first set and we never recovered from that.”

The Golden Eagles managed just 13 total kills against Washington, which improved to 6-1 on the season.
