Groton, coming off a big victory over previously top-rated West Central on Saturday, is rated second in the latest South Dakota Soccer Coaches Association poll. The Tigers, 4-1-1 on the season, trail just number one-rated Dakota Valley. Groton hosts Vermillion on Saturday.

Aberdeen Central is receiving votes just outside the top five in both the Class AA boys’ and girls’ polls. The Golden Eagles play host to Sioux Falls Roosevelt on Tuesday.
