BLAINE, Minn. - For the second straight game, the Aberdeen Wings took advantage of a goal by Leonid Bulgakov in the closing minutes to win a hockey game at the NAHL Showcase. The Wings defeated the Northeast Generals 5-3 on Thursday afternoon. The game was tied at 3-3 before Bulgakov scored with 1:43 remaining, similar in time to what he did to break a tie on Wednesday against Chippewa. Jibber Kuhl then added his second goal of the game with 18 seconds left for the final margin of difference. Aberdeen trailed 1-0 following the opening period before jumping in front with two second-period goals, one from Kuhl and the other from Matthew Martin-Gaudreault. After Northeast leveled the score, Cade Moxham put the Wings in front again, only to have Northeast tie the contest again, setting the stage for the closing minutes. Aberdeen outshot the Generals by a 42-24 margin. Willum Braun had 21 saves in goal for the Wings. Aberdeen received assists on the day from Kuhl, Luke Backel
