LEOLA – Faulkton collected 11 aces and 34 kills en route to a 25-13, 25-8, 25-21 sweep over Leola-Frederick in Lake Region Conference volleyball action Tuesday night. Carley Cotton finished with 14 kills, two aces, 28 set assists and 14 digs for the Trojans. Annika Mueller had a team-leading six aces, while Jaymi Senn contributed nine kills. Jill Ellwein topped Leola-Frederick with seven kills. Serving: Faulkton 65-73 11 aces (Anika Mueller 22-23 6 aces, Carley Cotton 13-13 2 aces); Leola-Frederick 36-44 1 ace (Sam Geffre 7-7). Hitting: Faulkton 90-105 34 kills (Cotton 36-42 14 kills, Jaymi Senn 14-16 9 kills); Leola-Frederick 99-117 12 kills (Jill Ellwein 37-42 7 kills, Ella Kempf 26-31 3 kills, Geffre 10-12 2 kills). Setting: Faulkton 102-102 31 assists (Cotton 85-85 28 assists); Leola-Frederick 99-101 12 assists (Taylor Vetter 38-39 8 assists, Zoe Cox 33-34 2 assists).
