Brandon Valley has taken over the number one position this Class 11AAA in this week’s Prep Media football polls. The Lynx defeated last week’s top squad Harrisburg last weekend to leap frog the Tigers in the poll.

All of the area squads retained their positions in the final nine-man polls of the season. Hamlin is second in Class 9AA, Warner and Wolsey-Wessington remained third and fourth, respectively in Class 9A, and Faulkton and Sully Buttes stayed at second and fourth, respectively in Class 9B. Faulkton received four first-place votes this week.

Teams in the receiving votes category are Clark-Willow Lake and Mobridge-Pollock in Class 11B, and Ipswich in Class 9A.
