WATERTOWN – Aberdeen Central ran into one of the hottest volleyball teams in the state Tuesday night.

The Golden Eagles were swept by fourth-rated Watertown 25-16, 25-15, 25-16 in an Eastern South Dakota Conference volleyball match. The Arrows have now won 17 of their last 18 matches.

“Watertown is very good,” said Central coach Jackie Bindenagel. “We hung with them until about the middle of each set, and then they would find a way to go on some big runs.”

Taylin Kleffman led the Golden Eagles from the service line with all three of team’s aces to go along with a team-leading 16 digs.
