Players from Aberdeen Central and Groton were picked for all-state soccer squads by the South Dakota High School Soccer Coaches Association.
Central’s Derek Arunasalam was selected to the Class AA boys’ first team, while teammate Tyson Hassebroek was honorable mention.
Gracie Lozenski was chosen to the second team for Class AA girls.
Groton, which finished runner-up in Class A girls, had three members make first team honors and another gain honorable mention.
First-team selections include Kennedy Hansen, Laila Roberts and McKenna Tietz. Brooklyn Hansen was chosen as honorable mention.
Groton’s Gage Sippel was chosen as honorable mention for Class A boys.
