Little change among volleyball polls

There were only minor changes among the top squads in this week’s Prep Media volleyball polls.

The only switch occurred in Class AA where Sioux Falls Jefferson moved to second, Sioux Falls Washington inched up to third, and O’Gorman slipped to fourth.

All of the area teams remained in their same positions as last week. Miller is fourth in Class A, while Hamlin is receiving votes. Warner is third, Hitchcock-Tulare fourth, and Northwestern fifth in Class B.

Hitchcock-Tulare plays at Warner tonight.

Here is the South Dakota Media Volleyball Poll for the week of Oct. 7, 2024. Teams are listed with first place votes in parenthesis, record, points and previous ranking.
