Castlewood athletes on DVC all-conference teams

The Dakota Valley Conference has announced it all-conference football and volleyball teams.

Castlewood is represented on the all-conference football team by seniors Camron Eng and Bryon Laue, and sophomore Kamden Keszler. Honorable mention selection is junior Leonard Wernke.

The Warriors also landed three players on the all-conference volleyball team: senior Emerson Carter, and juniors Cassidy Kirwan, and Nora Solberg. Senior Ava Ruml is an honorable mention pick.

Here are the other players on the all-conference football team: seniors Tanner Stein and Tanner Drietz, and juniors Colt Beck and Tait Boersma of Elkton-Lake Benton; senior Maverick LeBrun, juniors Lincoln LeBrun and Trimmier Hansen, and sophomore Alex Lindeman of Dell Rapids St. Mary; senior Brock Eppe, and juniors Cooper Merager and Brennon Bickett of Oldham-Ramona-Rutland; seniors Carson Reitz and Wyat James of Estelline-Hendricks; senior Jackson Zwart, and junior Thomas Loehr of Colman-Egan; senior Leila Farstad and sophomore Greyson Neilson of Arlington; juniors Grant Wilkinson and Slayten Wilkinson of De Met; senior Ryne Greene of Iroquois-Lake Preston, and senior Sam Leen of Deubrook Area.

Other honorable mention selections: juniors Eliot Erickson and Quintin Westley of Elkton-Lake Benton; senior Keaton Hansen and junior Carlo Pica of Dell Rapids St. Mary; junior Hyde Hanson of Oldham-Ramona-Rutland; senior Matthew McAninch and sophomore Regan Schwartz of Estelline-Hendricks; senior Carson Voelker and junior Hayden Pearson of Colman-Egan; senior Marshall Holz and junior Jake Burns of Arlington; seniors Gannon Gilligan and Ganon Henrich of De Smet; sophomore Rowdy Scheel of Irquois-Lake Preston; and senior Lincoln Boer of Deubrook Area.

Most Valuable Player is Tanner Stein of Elkton-Lake Benton, Co-Coach of the Year winners are Etehan Pearson of Elkton-Lake Benton, and Ross Flemmer of Dell Rapids St. Mary.
