Cougars remain unbeaten in league play with win over Sioux Center

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa – The Aberdeen Cougars scored less than a minute into the action on the way to a 5-2 girls’ hockey win over the Sioux Center Storm on Friday night. The Cougars improved to 4-0 in league play with the victory.

Addyson Keller found the back of the net just 46 seconds into the opening period to give the Cougars a lead they never lost. Madeline Sandvig added another goal about three and a half minutes later.

Rachel Siefken scored a pair of goals in the second period, one coming on an assist by Keller.

Kaylee Dixon, who had an assist on Keller’s goal, then a scored a goal of her own in the third period.

The same two teams are back in action today.
