WAVERLY – Leola-Frederick used a 21-5 third-quarter surge to rally past Waverly-South Shore in a 56-43 non-conference boys’ basketball win on Saturday.

Noah Kippley scored 21 points, including 10 in the pivotal period, as the Titans wiped out a six-point halftime deficit. Milo Sumption added 13 points – seven in the third quarter – for Leola-Frederick, which improved to 8-0 on the season.

Waverly-South Shore received 15 points from Sam Appelhof and 10 from Zach Ries.
