HURON – Jada Baloun led four players in double-figure scoring with 27 points as Highmore-Harrold defeated Hitchcock-Tulare 68-50 in the semifinals of the 281 Conference Girls’ Basketball Tournament on Monday.

Autumn Fallis and Tenley McDonnell each added 11 points, and Elle Stagg had 10 for the Pirates, who improved to 9-1 on the season.

Katelyn Schroeder scored 16 points, and Gracyn Bixler followed with 15 for Hitchcock-Tulare.

HITCHCOCK-TULARE (4-6): Katelyn Schroeder 6 3-5 16, Gracyn Bixler 4 4-4 15, Emmerie Arthurs 2 0-0 4, Rebecca Huizenga 4 0-0 8, Cambree Hoekman 1 0-0 3, Isabel Gilbert 1 0-1 2, Keilee Schone 1 0-0 2. Totals 19 7-11 50.
