Golden Eagles collect boys’ wrestling win over Huron

HURON – Aberdeen Central won the final six matches to finish off a 55-12 Eastern South Dakota Conference boys’ wrestling win over Huron on Tuesday night.

The Golden Eagles pulled away from a 19-12 advantage by racking up 36 points in those final six weight classes.

Central received pins from Paxton Ewing, Ridley Waldo, Kaylor Swenson, and Jackson Dargatz on the night.

Owen Ward and Cole Dunlavy both won their matches by technical fall.

The Golden Eagles head to Pierre for another ESD on Thursday, before competing in the Brandon Valley Invitational on Saturday.
