Leaders unchanged, Central girls inch closer to top five

The leaders remained the same on top of the six classes of basketball in this week's Prep Media polls. While the Castlewood boys suffered their first loss the Warriors remained the top-rated team in Class B after falling to second-rated Class A Hamlin. The other tops squads all remained unbeaten. Mitchell is the top team in Class AA boys, while Sioux Falls Christian is rated first in Class A boys. Top-rated girls squads are O'Gorman in AA, Sioux Falls Christian in A, and Centerville in B. Aberdeen Central, 4-1 on the season, is receiving votes in Class AA girls. Leola-Frederick is now up to fourth in Class B boys, Hamlin is fifth in Class A girls, while other teams in the receiving votes category include Clark-Willow Lake in Class A boys, and Castlewood in Class B girls.
