There is a new number one in Class AA boys basketball in this week’s Prep Media polls. Sioux Falls Lincoln takes over the top position after previous number one Mitchell lost to Harrisburg last week.
All of the other top-rated teams retained their spots: Sioux Falls Christian in A boys, Castlewood in B boys, O’Gorman in AA girls, Sioux Falls Christian in A girls, and Centerville in B girls.
Elsewhere there were very few changes in any of the six divisions. Hamlin remained second in Class A boys, even though it suffered a loss to Sioux Falls Christian. Leola-Frederick is still fourth in Class B boys, while Hamlin stayed fifth in Class A girls, again despite falling to top-rated Sioux Falls Christian.
Aberdeen Central continued to receive votes in Class AA girls, just outside the top five.
Wolsey-Wessington, which plays at Aberdeen Christian this evening, received a vote in Class B boys.
