FREDERICK – Leola-Frederick exploded for 52 first-half points and improved to 16-2 on the season with a 70-42 non-conference boys’ basketball win over Webster on Saturday.

Westyn Thorpe tossed in a game-high 19 points to lead the Titans. Noah Kippley followed with 13, Gavin Nickelson added 12, and Ethan Petrich finished with nine.

Webster was led by Jack Shoemaker with 14 points.
