Aberdeen Christian has moved into the receiving votes category for Class B boys in this week’s Prep Media basketball polls. The Knights, 13-4 on the season, have won five straight games.

Most of the area teams retained their positions from a week ago. In Class A boys, Hamlin is still second and Clark-Willow Lake stayed fifth. In Class B boys, Castlewood remained second, while Leola-Frederick slipped one spot to fifth. In Class A Girls, Hamlin remained fifth and Mobridge-Pollock continued to received votes.

There is one new top-rated team. Sioux Falls Lincoln, which occupied that position for a good part of the season, returned to that spot after last week’s number one Brandon Valley lost, and fell to third this week.

There are two unanimous top-rated teams this week: O’Gorman in Class A girls, and Centerville in Class B girls. Both are undefeated.

The only other unbeaten squads in the state are the Mahpiya Luta, second in Class A girls, and Harding County, third in Class B girls.
