
WARNER – Warner made 9 out of 10 free throws in the fourth quarter hold off Herreid-Selby Area 53-49 in girls’ basketball during the Warner Classic on Saturday.
Kaydee Mackner scored all seven of her points in the final period, including four straight free throws for the Monarchs. Courtney Leidholt had six points in the quarter, coming on a pair of 3-pointers.
Leidholt led Warner with 15 points, and Stacia Carda followed with 14.
Katie Allbee had a game-high 19 points for the Wolverines. Stephanie Allbee contributed 17.
