SIOUX FALLS – Aberdeen Christian ran into one of the top-ranked out-of-state teams in Western Christian (Hull, Iowa) Saturday afternoon during the Heritage Classic at the Sanford Pentagon. The Knights fell 64-40. Aberdeen Christian had some scoring woes through the second and third quarters before rebounding late, but the push wasn’t enough against the stalwart Wolfpack of Western Christian. “Definitely a good team,” said Christian coach Matt Rohrbach. “We are close, just need to continue to win the day. They really pressured well, and it was a great experience for our boys to play against that.” Grady Jett led the way for the Knights, finishing with 10 points, eight of which came in the second half. Brooks Jett notched eight points, and Luke Kaiser finished with seven. The Knights, 8-4 on the season, return home to face North Central on Tuesday at the Civic Arena.
