Turnquist named second-team all-conference

PRESS RELEASE

Burnsville, Minn. – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference released the 2024-25 all-conference teams for wrestling Wednesday with Northern State’s Wyatt Turnquist honored. The graduate student is now a 3-time NSIC All-Conference honoree.

Turnquist went 19-3 during the regular season and 7-1 in the NSIC, with his lone league loss coming to first teamer Colby Njos. He has spent the entire season ranked by the NWCA, sitting as high as fourth currently and placed fourth at the UIndy Midwest Classic before the holiday break. In addition, he sits top-10 in the country in technical falls this season with eight total in a time of 32:52.
