The Lake Region Conference has announced its all-conference girls’ basketball teams. The honor squad is highlighted by Most Valuable Player Carley Cotton of Faulkton.
First team members are senior Stacia Carda of Warner; senior Carley Cotton and freshman Anika Mueller of Faulkton; junior Gabby Wald of Ipswich; senior Adriana Ratigan and junior Ashley Haven of Northwestern; and junior Ella Batie and junior Amdree Vander Vorst of North Central.
Second team selections include senior Jordyn Jensen and freshman Courtney Leidholt of Warner; junior Marley Guthmiller of Ipswich; sophomore Tara Blachford of Northwestern; sophomore Alex Darling of Langford Area; and freshman Jillian Ellwein of Leola-Frederick.
Those chosen for honorable mention are junior McKenna Leidholt of Warner; junior Presleigh Martinmaas of Faulkton; senior Eliana Darling and junior Paytyn Marlow of Langford Area; and sophomore Sophia Eichler of Aberdeen Christian.
