The season is officially over for the Northern State women’s basketball team after the Wolves did not receive an at-large bid to the Central Regional Tournament.
There were three teams from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference that made the eight-team field. Conference champion Concordia-St. Paul is the second seed and will face fellow league member Southwest Minnesota State. Defending national champion Minnesota State is the fifth seed and will play Missouri Western in the opening round.
Other matchups include top-seeded Pittsburg State against Harding, and Fort Hayes State against Southern Nazarene.
