Class B track and field leaders

Lake Region Conference athletes can be found all over the Class B track and field leaderboard this week.

LRC members currently have the top time or distance in seven different events.

Those individuals include Kyle Hettich of Ipswich in the 100-meter dash and 400-meter dash, Gabe Johnson of North Central in the 3,200-meter run, Dustin Wurtz of Leola in the shot put, Brody Davis of Ipswich in the pole vault, Ella Boekelheide of Northwestern in the 1,600-meter run, and Marley Guthmiller of Ipswich in the pole vault.

Others who are currently rated second are Faulkton’s Spencer Melius in the 110-meter high hurdles and 300-meter intermediate hurdles, Hettich who is tied for second in the 200-meter dash, Landon Larson of Potter County in the long jump, Ty Boekelheide of Northwestern in the triple jump, Rasmus Loken of Ipswich in the pole vault, Weston Senn of Faulkton in the javelin, Ella Boekelheide in the 800-meter run, and Jalyssa Hutson of Ipswich in the pole vault.

Second-rated relay squads include Ipswich in the boys’ 400, Herreid-Selby Area in the girls’ 800, Ipswich in the girls’ 1,600, and Potter County in the sprint medley.

Other area boys’ individuals in the leaders are Max Kulesa of Ipswich who is third in the 800 and sixth in the 400, Johnson who is third in the 1,600-meter run, Dylan Hofer of Aberdeen Christian who is third in the triple jump, Chays Mansfield of Warner who is third in the pole vault, Brody Bass of Castlewood who is fifth in the 110 hurdles followed by Loken who is eighth, Payton Chasing Hawk of Hitchcock-Tulare who is sixth in the 300 hurdles with Loken in eighth, Melius who is sixth in the javelin, Kolby Haubris of Wilmot who is seventh in the high jump, Timothy Rucker of North Central who is seventh in the triple jump, Easton Bruns of Warner who is seventh in the pole vault, Logan LaBrie of Hitchcock-Tulare who is eighth in the 100, and Ty Boekelheide who is eighth in the long jump.

Other boys’ relays that are rated include Ipswich which is third in the 1,600 and fourth in the 800, and Frederick which is seventh in the 3,200.

Other area girls’ individuals in the leaders are Breanna Jochim of Herreid-Selby Area who is third in the 100, sixth in the 200, and sixth in the long jump, Emma Schlachter of Potter County who is third in the 800, Emma Schneider of Hitchcock-Tulare who is third in the long jump and triple jump, Peyton Schnabel of North Central who is third in the pole vault, Lindsey Geier of North Central who is fifth in the triple jump followed by Aberdeen Christian’s Shawnteah LaCroix who is seventh, Annaliese Van Zee of Sully Buttes who is fifth in the javelin followed by Katelyn Schroeder of Hitchcock-Tulare who is sixth, Warner’s Tatum Hanson who is sixth in the pole vault, followed by Avery Bruns of Warner in seventh, and Alaina Dosch of North Central and Courtney Leidholt of Warner who are tied for eighth, Madisyn Gellhaus of Ipswich who is sixth in the 3,200 followed by Jaycee Stevens of Potter County in seventh, Northwestern’s Ana Ratigan who is sixth in the shot put, Wolsey-Wessington’s Kendal Uttecht who is seventh in the 400, and Tatum Luce who is tied for seventh in the high jump, Autumn Fallis of Highmore-Harrold who is seventh in the 1,600, Olivia Olson of Sully Buttes who is eighth in the 300 hurdles, and LaCroix who is eighth in the 100.

Other girls’ relays that are rated include Herreid-Selby Area which is third in the 400, Potter County which is third in the 3,200 followed by Northwestern in fourth and Ipswich in sixth, Ipswich which is sixth in the 400, Northwestern which is sixth in the sprint medley, and Wolsey-Wessington which is seventh in the 800.
