ESTELLINE – The Elkton-Lake Benton boys and the De Smet girls won team championships at the Estelline Alumni track and field meet on Tuesday. Deuel was runner-up in girls’ team points, and third in the boys’ division.
Oliver Fieber of Deuel won both the 100-meter dash and the 200-meter dash, and also ran on the Cardinals’ winning 800-meter relay squad.
On the girls’ side Deuel’s Jaycee Hourigan won the 1,600-meter run, and teammate Makia Moe won the pole vault.
