MILLER – Warner-Ipswich-Northwestern picked up four extra-base hits to help fuel a 5-3 win over Miller in high school baseball action on Sunday afternoon.
Devon Fischbach started things off with a two-run inside the park home run to give W-I-N a 2-0 lead in the third. After Miller tied the score, Alec Mikkelsen tripled during a two-run fifth inning, and Mac Heinz and Logan Fischbach produced back-to-back doubles to add another run in the seventh.
Devon Fischbach, Heinz, and Logan Fischbach each finished with two hits in the victory.
Kellan Hurd had a pair of hits to top Miller.
