WESSINGTON SPRINGS – Warner overcame an early deficit to defeat Wessington Springs 54-52 in non-conference girls’ basketball action Thursday night.

Kyra Marcuson scored 20 points and Ava Nilsson 14 for the Monarchs, who trailed by six points after the opening quarter.

Carissa Scheel poured in a game-high 26 points to lead Wessington Springs. Kristie Munsen added 10.
