GETTYSBURG – The Miller boys and Potter County girls topped the team standings during the Central South Dakota Conference/Yellowstone Trail Conference cross country meet Wednesday in Gettysburg.
Miller scored 10 points to win the boys’ division by 29 points. Potter County scored eight points to win the girls’ crown by 17 points.
Miller grabbed the top spots in the boys’ race with Pierce Baumberger taking first and Alex Schumacher finishing second.
Mobridge-Pollock’s Heidi Olson won the girls’ race. Dannika Kaup of Potter County was runner-up.
Next up for the squads is regional competition next week. The state meet is set for Saturday, Sept. 22 in Huron.
