CLARK – Kingsbury County won the team championship with Faulkton second during the Clark-Willow Lake Invitational wrestling tournament on Saturday.

Clark-Willow Lake ended up with three individual champions including Kaden Wookey at 98 pounds, Cooper Pommer at 106 and Josh Kannegieter at 152.

Other area individual winners included Webster’s Tacey Miller at 113, and Faulkton’s Carter Schulte at 132.

KIMBALL-WHITE LAKE-PLATTE-GEDDES INVITATIONAL

Winner won the team title at the KWLPG Invitational with Miller-Highmore-Harrold finishing runner-up.

Among the area individual champions were Talon Ping (113 pounds) and Colby Kolda (160 pounds) of Miller-Highmore-Harrold, Keegan Haider (182) of Wessington Springs-Woonsocket-Wolsey-Wessington, and Preston Cavalier (220) of Warner-Northwestern.

STANLEY COUNTY INVITATIONAL

New Salem-Almont captured the team championship at the Stanley County Invitational. Potter County was fourth and Mobridge-Pollock was sixth.

Potter County’s Nicholas Schlachter won the individual title at 113 pounds.

Luverne topped the field to win the team title at the Flandreau Invitational. Deuel finished third in team points.
