MOBRIDGE - Athletes took advantage of some dry weather Thursday during the Mobridge-Pollock Early Bird track and field meet.
There were numerous athletes who won multiple individual events on the day.
In the boys' division, Alec Maier of North Central won the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes while Blaise Thompson of Mobridge-Pollock won the 1,600-meter and 3,200-meter runs.
In the girls' division, Jennica Berens of Herreid-Selby Area won the 100-meter and 300-meter intermediate hurdles races, Heidi Olson of Mobridge-Pollock won the 800-meter and 1,600-meter runs and also ran a leg on the winning 1,600-meter relay, and Kali Norton of Ellendale, N.D. won the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes.
