BALTIC – A pair of Great Plains Lutheran track and field athletes earned first-place finishes while several others came in second during the Flyerdog meet Thursday in Baltic.

GPL’s RJ Perry won both the boys’ shot put and discus, while Halle Bauer topped the field in the girls’ 1,600-meter run and was third in the 800-meter run.

Panthers who finished runner-up on the day included Hessel Andringa in the boys’ long jump, Sophie Kannas in the girls’ 100-meter dash, Taylor Bendix in the girls’ 3,200-meter run, and Catie Neumann in the girls’ triple jump.
