Redfield opens tournament with win over Hutchinson

MARSHALL, MINN. - Redfield pulled away from Hutchinson, Minn. for a 10-1 American Legion baseball win during the opening day of the Marshall Legion Wood Bat Tournament on Friday. Redfield opened the game scoring three runs in the top of the first inning, two of them coming on a single by Seth Siebrecht. Hutchinson answered with its lone run in the bottom half of the inning. After scoreless second and third innings, Redfield pulled away by scoring five runs in the top of the fourth, extending its lead to 8-2. Peyton Osborn delivered a two-run double, Keaton Rohlfs followed with an RBI single and came around to score on a triple by Elliott Komraus. Redfield added two more runs in the fifth for the final margin. Osborn plated one of the runs on a triple. Osborn pitched five innings, allowing one run on four hits, while striking out five. He also finished with a pair of hits and drove in three. Redfield, 12-3, will play Marshall at 9 a.m. this morning before facing Willmar,
