Crawford wins Junior Tour title; Braun leads Sanford event

Aberdeen girls are having a big golf week so far.

Claire Crawford won the Girls’ 14-15 division at the SDGA Junior Tour Cup on Monday in Pierre.

Olivia Braun is currently leading High School Girls’ division the Sanford Futures event in Sioux Falls. Braun shot a 79 on Monday for a two-stroke lead. Miller’s Jayce Pugh is tied for second with an 81.

Meanwhile, former Aberdeen standout Lucas Schaefbauer is part of a three-way tie for first place in the College Men’s Division. Schaefbauer shot a second-round score of 67 to go along with his first-round total of 73 for a 36-hole score of 140.
