Central golfers open season at Brandon

BRANDON – Aberdeen Central golfers were bunched up in a pack during the opening day of the Warrior-Lynx Invitational at the Brandon Golf Course on Monday. Just five strokes total separated the six Golden Eagles.

Central had a team total of 358. Harrisburg had the top round of the day at 296, with Pierre just three strokes behind.

The Golden Eagles were led by Jackson Ravelette who shot an 87 and tied for 51st. Peyton Brust was just two strokes behind at 89, while Carter Blanchard, Quincy Madsen and Cole Brust all finished with identical rounds of 91. Kyle Senger was right behind with a 92.

Central concludes the two-day event by competing at the Warrior Invitational in Sioux Falls today.
