Central finishes strong at Warrior-Lynx Invitational

SIOUX FALLS โ€“ The Aberdeen Central golf team rounded out the two-day Warrior-Lynx Invitational with a much lower total at the Bakker Crossing Golf Course in Sioux Falls on Tuesday.

The Golden Eagles, who finished in 13th place as a team, lowered their team total by 38 shots over Monday’s round in Brandon. Central finished with a total score of 678. Harrisburg took home the team title with a score of 575, followed by Pierre, which finished six strokes behind with a score of 581. Hayden Scott of Harrisburg won medalist honors with a 137.

Individually, Central was led by Jackson Ravellette, who finished tied for 50th with a score of 165. Peyton Brust finished two strokes behind, shooting a 167 and finishing tied for 55th.

Carter Blanchard tied for 61st with a score of 172, while Kyler Senger carded a 175. Cole Brust shot a 176, while Qunicy Madsen finished with a score of 177.

The Golden Eagles are off until Friday, Aug. 25 when they compete in a tournament at Huron.
