SIOUX FALLS – Northwestern’s Ella Boekelheide finished third in the girls’ race at the Nike Heartland Preview Cross County Meet at Yankton Trail Park on Saturday.
The sophomore covered the course in a time of 17:59.1. The field was loaded with Class AA runners from a four-state area.
Heidi Olson of Mobridge-Pollock finished 27th with a time of 19:39.4.
