The Groton girls opened up the Class A playoffs with a 4-0 win over St. Thomas More on Tuesday. The Tigers will host the winner of the Sioux Falls Christian and Vermillion contest on Saturday. Those two teams will play each other on Thursday.
There are several other Class A games scheduled for Thursday as well.
Meanwhile, the Class AA quarterfinal pairings are set following Tuesday’s opening round. Times for the contests will be determined.
