MELLETTE – Elk Point-Jefferson went undefeated in four matches to win the championship of the Northwestern Volleyball Tournament on Saturday.

Northwestern, which went 3-1 in the tourney with its only loss coming to EPJ, finished the day by defeating Leola-Frederick, recording the 1,000^th win in program history. The team has only had two coaches in its storied history, Kathy Graves (338 wins) and Nora Groft (662 wins).
