BISMARCK, N.D. – The Northern State men’s basketball team opened up its Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference schedule with a 90-74 victory over Mary Tuesday night.
The Wolves exploded for 57 second-half points to erase a two-point halftime deficit.
Northern State made 16 of 30 three-point field goals in the contest to pull away for its first win on the season.
Jacksen Moni powered the Wolves with a career-high 31 points. He also added six assists.
The Wolves, who had five players in double-figure scoring, received 19 points from Josh Dilling, 15 from Augustin Reede, and 11 apiece from Trey Longstreet and Andrew Bergan.

Northern hosts a pair of games this weekend at Wachs Arena. The Wolves face Peru State at 7:30 p.m. on Friday before hosting Trinity Bible College at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
