LANGFORD – Lincoln Woodring and Nathan Melius combined for 53 points as Northwestern picked up 65-48 Lake Region Conference boys’ basketball win over Langford Area Friday night.
Woodring poured in 33 points, while Melius contributed 20 for the Wildcats, who jumped out to an eight-point first-quarter lead and built on it from there.
Rennan Bruns scored 15 points to lead four players in double-figure scoring for Langford Area. Dylan Harmon followed with 12, Jacob Samson contributed 11, and Kalen Godel finished with 10.
