BRITTON – Sterling Brassfield finished with 23 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and five steals to help lead Britton-Hecla past Waubay-Summit 62-61 in non-conference girls’ basketball Monday night.

Jayden Bender added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Braves. Tiyanna Schott contributed 12 points and eight rebounds.

Madison Zirbel tossed in 15 points for Waubay-Summit, which trailed by 12 points at the start of the fourth quarter. Faith Larson and Aubrey Strang, followed with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
