Dillon Connor nailed a 3-pointer at the buzzer as Winona State rallied to defeat Northern State 80-79 in men’s college basketball Friday night.

Connor’s game-winner capped an evening of comebacks for the Warriors who trailed by 16 points on three different occasions in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference contest at Wachs Arena.

Jacksen Moni, who scored a career-high 40 points, had put the Wolves in front with a jumper of his own with six seconds remaining setting up the dramatic finish.

Augustin Reede added 14 points to the NSU total.

The Wolves, 10-15 overall and 8-11 in the NSIC, have their final home game of the season this evening when they play host to Minnesota State at 6 p.m.
