RAPID CITY – Olivia Braun of Aberdeen shot the lowest round in the Women’s Division on Sunday and finished runner-up at the South Dakota Golf Association Amateur Championship at Meadowbrook Golf Course.
Braun fired a 72 during the final round to finish with a 54-hole total of 223. Reese Jansa of Sioux Falls had a 73 on Sunday and capped the three-day tourney with a score of 221. Miller’s Jayce Pugh finished eighth with a total of 238.
Kevin Gillick of Rapid City won the Men’s Division. Gillick, who led the tourney after an opening round 69, fell out of the lead on the second day, before bouncing back with a 68 on Sunday, the only score in the 60s. He finished with a 54-hole total of 211. Brock Murphy of Sioux Falls took second with a total of 215.
