Aberdeen Central, on the strength of a win over previously unbeaten Spearfish last Friday, is now back in the receiving votes category in Class 11AA in this week’s Prep Media football polls. The Golden Eagles received one vote.

Brookings, who shutout Pierre last weekend, jumped up to second in the 11AA poll behind top-rated Watertown.

All of the area teams retained their positions this week: Hamlin is second in Class 9AA, Warner is third and Wolsey-Wessington is fourth in Class 9A, and Sully Buttes is third and Faulkton is fourth in Class 9B.

There is just one unanimous selection for first place in the seven classes as Sioux Falls Christian received all of the first-place votes in Class 11A.
