Wings cap regular season with win over North Iowa

One streak extended another Saturday night at the Odde Ice Center. The Aberdeen Wings scored a streak of six straight goals to extend their winning streak to nine straight games in a 6-2 victory over the North Iowa Bulls in their final regular season game in North American Hockey League action. As a result, the Wings will carry major momentum into their opening round playoff series against the Bismarck Bobcats this coming weekend. The first two games of the best-of-five series will take place Friday and Saturday in Bismarck, before action comes back to the Odde Ice Center the following weekend. Trailing 1-0 after one period against North Iowa, Aberdeen exploded for three goals in the second period and three more to start the final period to secure the victory.
